I'm going to be upgrading my phone soon, and I'm considering switching from an iPhone 3gs to either an HTC One X or an iPhone 4. I listen to music and podcasts a lot, as well as surfing the web. So which is the better phone?
I would like to put music and movies on it, and back it up not through iTunes. Is that possible and what program can do it if possible?

Ok so I bought a broken iphone 4s from my brothers friend for cheap. So I paid a company to fix the screen and changed it to a white front and back. Since apple wanted 200. But my battery is having issues and I paid to extend my warranty. But then I forgot my iphone is white when its supposed to be black. I just typed my serial in apple site and it doesn't say anything about the color. So will apple know if my phone was originally black even though it looks normal. I'm just bummed because I just paid to extend my warranty.

I have an iPhone 3gs that was on contract with vodafone, who asked for the iphones IEMI thingy, and i have had it unlocked by them for a fee and i'm just wondering if i jailbroke my phone would it reset the unlock so it can only be used on vodafone? (currently using an o2 sim)
I wanted to know if it's possible to run iTunes and backup my iPhone to iTunes on a external hard drive. I just don't want all that memory on my computer. A simplified way of doing would be good. I'm running on a Mac by the way
I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S3 for T-Mobile, running on 4G LTE speeds. I'm in the process of unlocking an iPhone 4s for T-Mobile. For those of you who are familiar with this, that would mean downgrading to 2G speeds. Is this trade worth selling my S3? I have read articles on tmobile's site saying they are expanding their 4G network to be compatible with unlocked iPhone users in the future. With that contributing factor, should I make the trade?
