I had to restore my iphone 4s the other day. Prior to restoring it, i backed it up. Then, when i restored from backup, all of my photos were gone. Is there any way i could get them back?
I just got given an iphone 4 and I want to give to my girlfriend who now lives in Canada, will either of us have to pay any sort of import tax or duty on it? It's a gift if that helps. If so, how much?
My iphone 4 was stolen, but i still have an old iphone 3.normally when you buy a brand new iphone, i know that when you connect it to your computer it automatically puts everything from your old iphone on your new one (contacts, pictures etc.)
But the one i want to use now has a lot of old stuff on it, its basically not "empty". When i plug it into the computer i don't see the option to put everything from my old phone on the new one. How can i do this?
With facebooks new update, swiping the comment/status to the right and clicking delete doesn't work anymore. Is there any way to delete them with the new update?
Added (1). @andrew: if you read the question you would see that swiping doesn't make the delete button appear anymore with the new update.
I dropped my iphone 4 in the toilet bowl for about 5 seconds. It was fully submerged then i took it out. It was flickering then it turned off. I searched online on how to fix it. It says I have to put it in a container of dry, uncooked rice. So I did that, for 10 hours. I took it out. It was able to appear on iTunes. I restored it and right now everything is there… There's just one problem - THE SCREEN WON'T TURN ON! Everytime i press the home and the lock button simultaneously it gives a beep vibrate type of sound… Anyone know how I can repair this! (other than taking to an apple store)
Hi i'm currently using blackberry torch but was thinkin of changin to an iphone for goin away travellin.main reason is for easy uploadin of pic and videos to facebook via the phone, txtin and makin calls. Not too interested in apps etc
so my question is if a buy an iphone 3gs will it become obsolete within next few yrs? And if i buy a jailbroken one which means i can't update-would this stop the phone from workin also?
saving to go away so would prefer not to spend on the newer versions.
I have an imelt case for my iPhone 4s and I want to put on a different case but I can't remove the imelt one, does anyone know of there's a certain way to do it or something?

Added (1). Would i lose any data if i restore? Like my music, notes, contacts, and stuff?
Added (2). It's ok if i don't get a jailbreak as long as i don't lose any of my data like music, photos, etc.
Why does it need internet? Is there a wireless version? Or something i can do to have it wireless? Cus i gotta ride my bike to town about 2 km to get Wi-Fi for my iphone. I can't do it every day either and i'm getting half the progress i could get. Getting internet is out of the question. Anything i can do?
