P90x or develop my own routine?
I'm starting college soon and I need a workout routine to get me in shape. P90x means I don't have to do any research and all I have to do is optimize the videos for my iPhone to do at the gym but i'm really over analyzing the situation.
P90x is more of a home toning program. It's better if you ask the trainer at the gym to give you a simple program at first (they usually give a simple program like: day1 chest+triceps day2 back+biceps day3 abs, legs, shoulders) and when you get more experienced and your body gets fitter you can form your own routine.
I think that's the best for you.
Chest
incline dumbbell presses: 2 warm up sets of 12 reps, 1 working set of 10 reps.
incline flyes w/dumbbells: 1 warm up set of 12, 1 working set of 10.
sit ups w/weight: 3 sets to failure.
weighted leg raises: 3 sets to failure.
shoulders
military press in front: 2 sets of 12 reps, 1 set of 10 reps.
side raises: 1 set of 12 reps, 1 set of 10 reps.
bent over rear delt raises: 1 set of 12 reps, 1 set of 10 reps.
front raises w/dumbbells: 1 set of 12 reps, 1 set of 10 reps.
shrugs: 1 set of 12 reps, 1 set of 10 reps.
back
lat pulldown: 2 sets of 12 reps, 1 set of 10 reps.
bent over barbell rows: 2 sets of 12 reps.
seated cablerow: 1 set of 12 reps, 1 set of 10 reps.
deadlifts: 1 set of 12 reps, 1 set of 10 reps.
legs
leg extension: 2 sets of 20 reps, 1 set of 20 reps.
squats: 2 sets of 12 reps, 1 set of 20 reps.
lying leg curls: 1 set of 15 reps, 1 set of 20 reps.
stiff legged deadlift: 1 set of 12 reps, 1 set of 20 reps.
There are some ideas of ways you could separate and what you could do. I've heard of many people really liking p90x. I personally have done insanity and loved it!
- Join me to develop an iPhone app? If you want to help me develop an IPhone app or just want to learn how to code an iPhone app let me know, I been coding with Xcode about a year now.
- Is there an inexpensive way to develop an app? I'm a college student with a few ideas for iPhone apps that I would like to release. The only problem is that the cost for developing one seems to be a little on the high side for me and is money I don't really have at the moment (I have less than $500 saved up). Does anyone have any recommendations on what would be the most inexpensive way to develop a quality app for IPhones and Android devices?
- I want to buy a macbook pro to develop iphone app development? I want to switch to mac from windows. - How to get legal permission to develop an app for a site? I have been reading some requests on a site called poptropica, and a lot of people want it on iPhone. I know I have enough coding-digital art skills to make it, but how do I get permission from the developers to do so? Would they likely officially hire me?
