Phone problems. View details

My phone decides to turn off every two minutes or so and shows the little spiny thing that it shows when shutting down. It then opens again and prompts me to unlock it. It does it again after another two minutes. It's an iPhone SE. Any idea what this is and how to fix it?

Take it to your nearest Apple store and get them to have a look at it.

Apple just put out a note about this; updating to iOS 11.2 will fix it:

"If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch unexpectedly restarts"
If your device with iOS 11 unexpectedly restarts repeatedly on or after December 2, 2017, learn what to do.

Inside, it says to update to iOS 11.2. If you're having trouble with that, turn off notifications for every one of your apps, then run the update.

  • Unlock scroll bar on broken iPhone? Details below? There was rumors going around that if you crack the screen on your iPhone / iPod that the scroll bar to unlock the phone will eventually stop working, is this true? And approximately how long till that happens?
  • How to transfer/view iPhone photos when phone is locked? A few days ago I dropped my iPhone and the LCD/screen broke. Only the upper portion of my phone is visible/reactive to touch. I know we can view photos from iPhoto, but the thing is they require the iPhonespasscode to view them. My lower part of the screen is broken so it is not functioning and I can't type in my password. Is there any other way to enter the phone/transfer my photos this way? How do I reset my phone's passcode without losing the data/password in my phone?
  • Is there a way that I can reset an iPhone, without needing to use the phone? Details below? So I got a new iPhone because the screen in my old one was cracked. After a while the screen in my old phone wouldn t turn up or show anything. Nothing is wrong with the phone except the screen. The problem is that I can't see anything and I want to sell the phone. And I would like to take out all my information and reset it but I'm not able to, unless I fix the screen which I'm not looking to do.
  • If I buy a new phone and restore my phone will a virus transfer to the new phone? I believe my iPhone has a virus but I'm not sure. I'm due for a new phone anyways but I need to know that if I do have a virus on my current phone, will it transfer with my information and data to my new phone?
