Plugging my iphone to a new laptop? What will happen?
Hi! I'm getting a new laptop and I was wondering what will happen if i plug in my iphone 5 to the new laptop after i download itunes. Will everything on my phone erase? Or will my phone sync everything on itunes? I really don't want to lose everything!
Most likely your iPod will sync with the iTunes library on your new laptop, since it can only sync with one library at a time, meaning you will lose all the music/apps on your iPod. You can download SharePod and import your songs from your iPod into the iTunes library on your computer. I don't know what to do about the apps though; but I'm not completely sure if they'll erase. Just don't sync your apps with your new laptop then. Also, if your phone is connected to the cloud, you might be able to recover/get items from there.

- Tried plugging in my iPhone 4 to my computer? Hi, so I plugged in my iPhone 4 into my Acer (windows 8) computer on all three USB holes and none of them is pulling up my iPhone file on the My Computer's file. I tried going on Control Pannel > Hardware and Sound > Device and Printers and troubleshooting the iPhone but it doesn't work. Any ideas or input?
- Speakers not working after plugging headphones in? I dropped my iphone 6 in the bath and the speakers weren't working for like an hour however would work with headphones, I tried cleaning the headphone jack with a q tip however that didn't do anything but it randomly just turned back on however now whenever I put my headphones on and then take them out it takes about 2 minutes for the speakers to work again, help?!
- Plugging your iPhone into a different computer? I have an iPhone 4 but I need to update the software on it but obviously I need to do that from iTunes. My problem is that the laptop I normally connect it to is all slow so it takes me like half an hour to switch it on. I wanted to know if I download iTunes on another laptop and connect my phone to it, would it wipe my songs and apps? If so, how do I stop that from happening?
