Problem with iphone contacts?

My iphone list is sorted in alphabetical order but whenever I add a new contact, the name appears on top of the list. For example, if I add "Test" as a contact it would appear like this:

My problem is excatly the same but none of the solutions work.

You can control HOW to sort the names - but you have to enter them correctly. First name - one line Surnames - next line. Then you can decide if you want them sorted by First names -or surnames, and then alphabetically within that surname - Alison Smith, Barbara Smith, etc. You can also set the SORT function to put ALISON in the A section; Barbara in the B section - anything you decide - but you have to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. It appears that you did not put a LAST name with TEST- and therefore, *no entry* comes before A - like 0 comes before 1.

  • Whatsapp contacts - if they're onnm contacts am I on theirs? I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
  • Problem with my Apple Iphone contacts disappearing? My Iphone is becoming extremely annoying. Some of my contacts are disappearing when i text them their name is displayed yet they have vanished from my contacts. Another problem i have just discovered is old numbers for contacts are displaying when i'm selecting to text them even though i deleted the old numbers a long time ago. Does anybody have any solutions?
  • My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do. Is there a way to change this?
  • IPhone problem? Contacts disappeared? I was synching my iPhone with my computer and emails and now all my contacts are gone! What do I do? Why did this happen?
