Problem with my Pioneer stereo system in my car?
I have a Pioneer stereo system in my RAV4.It works great with the radio and with CDs, but when I have my iPhone plugged into the auxiliary input, the sound only comes out of the right side. I have replaced the cable several times so I know my cable isn't the problem. I've also tested other devices, so I know it's not just my phone either. Anyone know what the problem is? Any help is appreciated!
This is a common occurrence with aux inputs/cords. Try rolling the cord up and unrolling, there could be a wire that's bent or something. Also move the cord in and out slowly of the aux input on your Pioneer radio while music is playing. Also, if you have a case on your iPhone, take it off, the cord may not be getting full contact with the speaker jack on your phone. If your Pioneer radio has bluetooth, or a front or rear usb input I would use those instead.
Just mean the cord is shorting out. You can roll it around your iPhone but that is a short term solution. The best solution is to just buy a new one. If you use the cord quiet often they will probably go out every 3 months. They don't last very long.
- Why does my Pioneer car deck skip? I have a DEH-X6500BT. When I use it for Pandora, it doesn't skip, but when I plug my iPhone into it (or use the bluetooth connectivity) it will start playing a song for a while (usually around a minute and thirty seconds), and then I hear a whoosh, the song gets muffled, and it skips to the next song. What's up with this?
- What's a good sound stereo system? I'm looking for a sound system that consists of maybe 4 or 5 speakers and a sub woofer. I want one that you can plug into the wall for power and plug my iPhone into it. Where can I find something like this?
- Pioneer DEH-2400UB car stereo, iphone accessibility? I've been watching some reviews online, and it seems as if everyone is using a specialised cable to plug their iphones or ipods in that isn't the standard one you get from apple, i was wondering if you can jus simply plug the standard one that apple gave you into the stereo and if that will work?
- Older Pioneer car audio system? I got an older car and it has a Pioneer MOSFET 50wx4, Is there anyway of playing music from an iPhone or iPod through it? There's no slot for a USB or AUX cord that I can see
