Problems with installing SIM card onto IPhone 4?
So I got an unlocked and non-jailbroken IPhone 4 today, and I tried cutting down the SIM card from my old phone and sticking it into my IPhone. No dice. It says "No SIM" at the top right. I have TMobile as a service provider by the way.
The SIM card's a bit loose, but not too loose (By this, I mean a little bit smaller than the adapter). What do I need to do to get the SIM card to work? Do I need to call customer support and ask request a microSIM to myself all the trouble? Or what?
Two things.
First you can get a free micro sim card at any T mobile. Trust me I work there. We usually charge $10 but if your cool. We can give it for free. But even if they charge u. Its worth it. Your phone will perform better.
Second. Not all unlocked iphone 4s work on t mobiles network. Only ATT's iphone 4 works. The Sprint and Verizon version of it don't have T mobiles 1900 band. Which is the band that unlocked phones run on T mobiles network. So even if unlocked it won't connect to the network.
I suggest trading in the iphone. Most T mobile stores offer in store trade in. And get yourself an i phone 5 in payments. If its a 4s youll walk out with an i phone 5 with little to no money.

- Problems installing firmware? I have an iPhone 4 running 4.0. I want to upgrade it to 5.1.1. But I keep getting error code 1601. I've used iREB already and still no luck. Any other suggestions on installing this firmware.
- Installing Windows 8 Problems? I downloaded Windows 8 on Wednesday at my office. I was only using my iPhones hotspot and it was taking for ever to download so I cancelled it. I tried to download it on my broadband and it comes up with an unknown error. - I have problems with my iPhone 5 connecting to 3G since installing ios7? Since installing ios7 on my iPhone 5 i can't get my 3g to work.it'll up in the corner 3g but won't load twitter safari or other things like this. It's really annoying because i can't use it when i'm doing my daily commute. Any suggestions will be much appreciated
- Changing from normal sim card to iPhone 4 sim card? I'm an AT&T customer with a smart phone. I'm wanting to buy an iPhone 4 but I know they take smaller sim cards than normal phones. If I buy an iPhone from an individual, can I take it to AT&T and have them give me a smaller sim card & transfer my information? Would I have to pay extra for it? Is it even possible?
