Read details to help me decide if I'm just being selfish or I'm correct and my family is being the selfish ones?

Ok well I was hanging out with my dad for my birthday and he asked me what I wanted and I was joking but I said a new phone because my phone is broken and I was on it at the time. He said yes and we went to go get it and it was a like if you get one phone you can get another free kind of thing with the iPhone 7 so my dad was like ok I'll give it to brother and I was like sure. A few minutes later my mom and sister start complaining that they don't get new phones (reminder: it was MY birthday) so then my dad got so fed up with them complaining and got them a new phone so my whole family got a new phone on my birthday even my mother who is divorced to my father and always fights with him and my sister that won't even go to see my father and my brother that always fights with him when he goes and see my father. And don't worry I don't do that. Oh and before we all got the iPhone 7, my sister, brother, and mother all had the iPhone 6s and I had the iPhone 5c that was broken. So the point out of my big story is, if you were in this position would you think it was unfair for your family members to all get new phones on your birthday because every time I bring it up my mom hits me and yells at me to stop saying it's unfair and my 20 year old brother and 18 year old sister (who don't even live at home and have money to get there own phone) they just role their eyes at me. Oh and btw I just turned 16 so I'm actually able to get a job so I'm getting one so I can pay for my data bills.

Try not to be a materialistic person. Nothing wrong with being one, but iPhone 7 is not a necessity, right? Like I still role with iPhone 5S even if I was offered a 7. Things like brand name products, latest electronics, etc are pretty cool to have but not necessities. Be happy that you have a father who agrees to buy you an iPhone 7 and that you have a roof over your head. (PS. Just clearing this up, I'm not hating or anything. Just sharing my point of view. Sorry if I gave off the "hater's" vibe.) Btw, I'm sorry you have a mom like that. Best of luck in life and happy birthday.

I "really" feel bad for your Dad! He was trying to make you feel special on your birthday and ended up with scavengers picking his pockets. It's really sad that he has to "Buy their love" and then get short changed on it anyway.
And by the way, at 16, if I had a Mom that hit me, I'd kick her right in the nutz.
