Receieved a fake iPhone from China and want to recycle it for money, is it legal to?
So my dad got me an iPhone 6s Plus from China and it turned out to be fake, you can tell it's fake by the weight and the software (Android software instead of iOS which I found extremely weird). Now I want to recycle it for money in order to buy a real iPhone. I just want to know if it's legal to recycle it even though it's fake. What would happen if I do recycle it and they find out it's fake?
You can recycle anything at a recycle place, Apple won't give you anything for it, obviously they will know its fake. I would never buy anything from china… Ever, they steal, hack, etc. I check almost everything I buy to make sure its not a chinese company
Dealing in counterfeit goods is a felony in many jurisdictions.
- Why doesn't anyone sue china for all the fake products they make? I've juse seen a few pictures of things like fake KFC, fake starbucks, fake pizza hut, fake iphones called Hiphones, apad (fake Ipad) as well as many cars that look the same as the original (bmw, audi, mercedes etc.) except they are fake and have different names. All of these items, shop logos etc.look exactly like the real ones (really good replicas) yet all they have different is the name. How comes no one sues any one in china for blatantly stealing other peoples ideas?
- What is the difference between a FAKE china made iphone 5 and a REAL healthy iphone5? I'm gonna buy a iphone5 from someone who not around my city he will ship it. So how do i know its a fake or real iphone5? Tips?

- IPhone software update. I did not agree to the terms and conditions and it downloaded anyway. Are there legal ramifications for Apple? My iPhone software updated overnight and prior to this I would always decline any software update and stayed on 10.1 iOS. I woke up to find the software was updated to 11.3 without my consent or agreement to the terms and conditions. That beeing said, what law, or rules were broken by Apple?
