SELLING FEES ON EBAY AND PAYPAL? - 1
I'm about to begin selling iPhone cases on eBay, I have over 500 in stock. I plan to sell each for 10-15 dollars. What would be my best way to make the shipping cost it's lowest? And make the eBay fee and PayPal fee as low as possible. I know different eBay accounts exist but I'm not sure which one to use. I'm hoping someone with experience can assist me.
The fees are what they are and you better charge enough shipping to cover your packaging material and actual shipping costs
- Why is Paypal charging me more for selling an item than necessary? I sold an iPhone for $485 on eBay, and I know Paypal's fee's are 2.9% + $.30 for selling an item. So it should be $14.37 right? No, it's $19.22… Why is it like $5 more than it should be? Help! It was an international payment, so it was 3.9% instead plus $.30 so I got my answer. I called up and they gave me credit for the issue though.

- What happens if you use paypal to avoid ebay fees? A friend of mine is big into ebay and sells and buys alot. He wanted to buy an iphone for a little less and offered the seller less to go through paypal to go around ebay and save on fees. The seller said if he would just send an invoice through paypal. I told him he could probably get screwed doing it like that but figured i would ask. So if he pays the invoice would he have any protection if the seller decided to be mean and not send it out?
