Selling my iPhone at GameStop?

I dropped my iPhone 4 8gb in the water I now have a new phone I wanted to sell it at gamestop but I'm just wondering when they inspect it
will they check the water indicator inside the phone?

Does the phone still work? If yes then they will likely not check. I've ask them about trading couple iPods and they never check. They just look for damage and check if it turn on or not So likely is that they won't. And don't sell it to gamestop. They'll give you a low offer in store credit. Subtract 20% from that if you want cash. I recommend selling it on Craigslist because its fast and easy. Even if it doesn't work its still worth around $50 for parts gamestop will give you $9 store credit as of now or $7 cash if its broken. You can sell for cash on craigslist. I have buy and resell phones on craigslist to make cash. Its easy you just have to take precaution. Make sure you meet at public place like starbucks or fast food place and bring someone with you.
