Setting up an Apple appointment?
I cracked my iphone 5 screen and I'm on AppleCare. Can I make an appointment and go into the store or do I have to send it in?
If you want to get the phone or screen replaced you have to call Apple and arrange to send it into their main center. But if you are going to the Genius Bar then you can just make an appointment online.
- When setting up an Apple Id and password for an iphone 5s, do you need to plug in the USB to the computer and the phone? Do you hook up USB plug to phone and computer to sync it, or do you just create the Apple ID and password?
- What if I miss an appointment with Apple? My iPhone has a cracked screen that I wanted to get fixed. An appointment was made with Apple, but then I realized it was past the appointment time. Is Apple going to be like "Hey, you missed your appointment" or will nothing happen?
- What does apple do at a reserve and pick up appointment? I just scheduled a reservation to pick up a iPhone 6s on Sept. 25… What exactly do they do at one of those appointments… I just wanted to pick up my phone and leave.
- Setting up an iPhone after resetting it without using previous apple id? Ok, so my title doesn't really make sense but here's my situation. I recently sold an iPhone 4 on ebay and obviously I want to reset it. However, I have been told that after you reset it, you'll have to use the original apple ID you started with. Is this true? If it is, how do I do make it so that you can use any apple ID to set it up?
