Should I get a Windows 8 PC or Mac?

Should I get a Windows 8 PC or a Mac OS X (I like both OS). I will be using Skype, Office, Games and web browsing. I currently had an iPad and iPhone and I don't care about sync. I will also do lots of Photo and Video editing.

If you're not similar when it comes to using computer then go with Mac because it is more secure from hackers and viruses than PC. Also I find Mac more simple to use than PC and I'm a fan of PC. ALSO video editor mostly uses Mac and this include people editing photos.

Personal opinion.
Go with WINDOWS 8.
No offense if you like mac.

Why I think windows8 as its not traditional windows OS.

It is suitable as per your need and secure from internet threats as well.

With new feature like reset it is easy to fix also.

So my opinion goes with 8.

Ans not to forget soon would be having OS from google too.

So if you can wait just hold on for some more time, maybe you will be getting more surprises:-)

W8 pc because the pc is upgradable and this os is good if your pc can manage it.

Windows 8 PC is the best one.

Why not get a Mac and run Windows 8 on it when you need it?

If you like to game stick with Windows. Macs are terrible for gaming and you have to pay $2000 plus to get a mid level computer when you could get a high end gaming computer from another company. Check out xoticpc.com you can completely customize your laptop to suit your needs and they have amazing specs for gaming available. Macs are not more resilient to viruses and hackers, there just aren't that many viruses for Macs yet since they make up such a small portion of the market. In fact they are always the first to fall at Pwn2Own which is a hacking competition. As for the OS I'd personally stick with Windows 7. Windows 8 is a little to new and seems more for touch screens. I hope it's not another Vista. Anyway for what you want to do Windows computers better suit your needs.
