Should i get the insurance for apple 5c iphone?

I thinking of purchasing the iphone 5c and was thinking about getting the insurance on that. However, verizon tells me if i damage or lose my phone, they'll send me a refurbished phone and not a new one and the price for insurance would be 240.00 for 2 years.

However, now with the iphone 6 coming out soon and considering the prices will drop on the iphone 5c, do you think its even worth purcashing insurance on the phone?

I would get insurance for iPhone, yes.

$240 sounds like a lot of money for something that you may not even use. You could almost pay for a whole other phone with that.

If you aren't careless, use a case, etc. You should be fine without it. Plus the replacement is refurbished, so it's not even new. You should still have a warranty period for the phone so if you break your phone in that period, they still have to give you another one (whether you have insurance or not). Check into the warranty and replacement policy.
