Should I go to the Apple Store or go to a 3rd party screen fixing company?
Yesterday I was at universal studios and I left my phone in my pocket when someone slammed into me. I took my phone out of my pocket about 30 seconds later and there was a scratch on the screen. I have an iPhone 5 and it should still be under warranty (I got the phone either October 24 or 25). The nearest apple store (to my city) is 30 minutes away. Will they even do anything? Should I just have my screen fixed by a company a family member of mine used? It was $70 to replace a shattered iPhone 3GS screen there and it's a lot closer. My scratch isn't major. You can feel it with your fingertip, but it's barely noticeable unless on the keyboard. Probably around 1.5in. That's enough to annoy me, though. If you say buy a screen protector or a different phone, please don't. I know about screen protectors but they make my phone uncomfortable to use and it's not worth it to me, and I know very well about other phone options. My case (speck) also squished inward after the person slammed into me
I don't actualy think apple replace screens for any devise and if they do it will be way too over priced go 3rd party
- Why is it called third party? Who are the first and second party? So like in iPhone, you are not allowed to use a third part charger because it is not supported but I was wondering if there's a first party or a second party charger that exists?
- Is there a apple device or any 3rd party product like this? Where I can stream movies from itunes to my tv? Or anything similar to that amazon tv thing. I have something similar but it was from when I had an old iphone and now since I have an iphone 6, the charger plug-in is different compared to the 6's, rendering the current tool useless
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is it safe to install 3rd party iPhone 6 batteries? I'm an electrical engineer but Apple does not sell batteries directly to the consumer. Instead, they ship it to the authorized service centre. The service centre charges a lot for a new battery(around $200 or more). While going through Amazon, I was able to find iPhone 6 batteries for $30-50. My battery is ok for now but I was wondering if it is safe to put a 3rd party battery https://www.amazon.com/...01B4TEJUM/
