Should I stay with my Iphone 5S or switch to the an Android?

Added (1). I'm so familiar with the Iphone, being a customer ever since the first generation came available. I feel that the features of the Android overwhelm me and the 'learning' curve is too intimidating. I use a mac laptop, are Android phones compatible? Which Android phone is the best? I know about Apple's Itunes and App store but I'm unfamiliar with the apps available for Android phones. Can someone explain how they compare?

People will say android. But it depends what you really want in your phone (features)

IPhone

If you're comfortable with the Apple ecosystem, and want the lowest learning curve, stay with your iPhone.

That said, Android has improved greatly, and in some respects has surpassed iOS. You can use Android phones with Macs, though it won't be quite as seamless. Android apps, music, movies, etc. Are available from the Google Play Store (equivalent to Apple's App Store), and they will work on any Android device. Pretty much any semi-major app that is available for the iPhone will be available for Android.

For someone like you, I would recommend looking at the Moto X. It runs smoothly, has an easy-to-hold form factor, and has useful features such as Touchless Control.

If you never use one, you can't get familiar with it. Android is very sexy if you get used to it. You've been using iPhone since the first generation, now give Android a chance. I'm sure you'll like it after few days. Android phones are compatible with Mac. You just need to connect the phone with the USB cable and directly transfer stuffs to / from phone. I love both Android and iOS may be bcoz I've been using them both from the very first. Time to give Android a chance, innit? If you need any latest Android smartphone unlocked or without contract cheaper than retail, mail me.

  • Switch chomp sms from android to iphone? I have an android as of now, but I'm getting the iphone tomorrow. I use Chomp SMS and I would like all my messages to transfer over to the iphone Chomp SMS, if this is possible? Can anyone let me know how to do this if it can be done?
  • Should I switch from iPhone to Android? I'm not bored with iOS, I just want to do more things that a PC can do with my phone. I know that Android allows you to do many things and all that. But it's just that I don't know if I can leave iTunes and the App Store. I own many apps like GarageBand and iMovie, and many many other apps that Android doesn't offer. Is it worth it to leave a good ecosystem to be able to do more stuff with your phone? Is google play enough?
