Should I switch from iPhone to Android?

I'm not bored with iOS, I just want to do more things that a PC can do with my phone. I know that Android allows you to do many things and all that. But it's just that I don't know if I can leave iTunes and the App Store. I own many apps like GarageBand and iMovie, and many many other apps that Android doesn't offer. Is it worth it to leave a good ecosystem to be able to do more stuff with your phone? Is google play enough?

Stay with iphone because it's awesome

It depends on what you want to do. I happen to own devices with both OS's, and I prefer iOS because I like how it works and I'm kind of an apple fan. Android isn't bad, and it does have a lot of unique features such as being able to download anything from the internet. If there's something the iPhone can't do, there's most likely a jailbreak for it. Both are good, and they each have ups and downs. Google play is pretty similar to the App store, but I think the App store is better.

IPhone is better. If you change to Android, you will regret it forever. IPhone has a "smooth" touch screen. Android is a lot more complicated. I know a lot of people who have told me that my iPhone sucked (them having Android) until they upgraded to iPhone. Now, they would never switch back.

Listen, both are good in their own way, both firmware have it pros and con. Do you want to know what PlayStore have to offer? Just open a gmail account and then go to playstore.google.com in your pc browser and check all the apps, this will give you the chance to compare.
I don't know if know this, but you can sync all of your music from iTune with an Android device, it allows you to, so that if you happen to own both devices, you can have the same music.
Now, if you are happy with what you have, and you really don't want to loose your apps, then just stick with the iPhone.
I own an iDevice (iPad2) but also own a Galaxy S2, and believe me, I regret nothing, it works just as well, if not better than the iPhone. And BTW, I'm planning on selling everything that I own Apple related, even my MacBook Pro.

IPhone has no comparisons in compared to apps with android & any other os.

You can try this apps

  • Will I lose my number if I switch from Android to an iPhone? For some reason I can't find a straight answer to this question online. Anyone who has made the switch from Android to an iPhone, did you lose your phone number? I think this happened to my mother-in-law. My husband wants to switch our plan and turn in our Androids for iPhones, but I don't want to do that if that means I lose my number. I have had my number for 8 years.
