Should I still update my jailbroken iphone?

I still update my iphone to 7.06? And is there a way i can backup my jailbroken stuff?

  • Should I update my iTunes even though i still have iOS7? I have an iPhone 4 so I can't get iOS8. But lately iTunes has been sending me messages asking if I want to update, but they're all meant for iOS8. I don't want to download it and have it mess up my phone somehow. But at the same time there are security updates that are usually important. So what should I do?
