Should I take a cashiers check on Craigslist, if someone wants to buy a iPhone 4?
What are the chances of it being fake?
High. Especially if its for more than the agreed amount.
there are banks and atms everywhere these days -- cash will do just fine
Do not risk it. Cash only.
With Craigslist, you never, ever do anything but a cash, face-to-face deal. It doesn't matter what they say, or how convincing they are.
If you don't want to get ripped off,
Cash.
Face-to-face.
Nothing else.
- What should I watch out for if I want to buy an iPhone 6 plus from Craigslist? Some say no service and others say no sim. Some are about 150 or something like that and others 500 something. Please let me know what to watch out for and how I can prevent getting a fake one.
- What should I buy with my first pay check? So, I got my first job on Thursday and I just wanted to buy myself something, kinda like a congrats to me kind of gift (is that dumb?) So, my choices are: 1. Macbook. 2. IPhone 4S 3… Any suggestions. Please no being rude, I have bills and they will be paid, so don't worry about that.
- Someone wants to cancel an order on Amazon? I'm selling my iphone 5 on amazon. someone bought it and after 2-3 hours, he emailed me back wanting to get his money back cuz he "accidently" bought it. i lied to him saying i can't change it cuz its already been shipped. and i'm planning to sell it out to him, because i had my iphone up for like 2 weeks and its so frustrating and he made me happy and now he wants to cancel it… even if i say no and send the item, does he have right to send a refund?
- Someone wants my MEID number? I'm trying to sell my sprint iPhone 5s on craigslist. A guy contacted me saying he wanted me to send him the MEID number so he could verify it would work for his plan. He doesn't actually need this, does he? The only things that should matter at things like what type of phone it is and when it was purchased right? I read that it can cause problems if the wrong person gets ahold of that number. This sounds like a scam to me. Is it?
