Should i take my iPhone to reading festival?

I really would like to take loads of pictures with my phone because that is all i ever take pictures with but loads of people tell me it will probably get stolen or damaged? How else would i take photos? Taking an old phone would solve the communication problem but not the photo problem, taking a digital camera is just as risky as taking an iPhone, and i won't be able to take too many good photos on a disposable camera? What should i do:/

I would take your camera, the iphone is 700$, the camera can easily be replaced. Also bring the old phone for communication

I would take the iPhone and go swimming with it.

Take your iPhone and just be very careful with it. Keep it in a zipped pocket and don't flash it about too much.
However, it's unlikely you will get any decent shots so don't be disappointed.

IPhones are no longer the ultimate "must-have" gadget. Everyone and their grandmother has one. No more likely to be stolen than your wallet.
Take care of it like you do your money. Keep it in a secure pocket and don't flash it about.

What kind of reading festival are you going to that you have to worry about the crime rate?
Anyway, take your phone, be careful like others have noted and you'll be fine.

  • Which is worse reading and not replying or not even reading it? On fb or iPhone or whatever which would you consider worse, reading something, and the person seeing you've read it, and not replying or just not reading it at all and I obviously not replying. In both cases not replying at all.
  • What would be price of iPhone 5s in dubai festival? Someone is coming feom mumbai and he'll buy iPhone 5s (32 GB) for me. Dubai festival will be started from 2nd jan-14.So what do you think will be the price of iPhone 5s in dubai in USD currency?
  • Should I Continue Reading The Batman: Court of Owls Story Arc? I'm new to the batman comics and have started using the DC Comics iPhone app and have bought three issues of this Batman arc. I kind of like it but wanted to know if there's a better Batman arc to read that is on the app that includes a more widely known character and Batmans problems with character over a fairly large span (The Joker, Bane, Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow, Two Face, Mr. Freeze… )
  • ITunes festival getting in with someone else's passsbook tickets? A friend can't go to the itunes festival tomorrow for Paramore so she has given me her tickets. I have loaded the tickets on to my passbook on my iPhone. The terms and conditions state that you ONLY need to bring the passbook tickets and photo ID. The passbook tickets do NOT have any names attached to them. When they scan the QR code, does my friends name pop up on their machine? Or not? That's the only problem I see, otherwise I should be able to get in, and just show my photo ID.
