Sprint iPhone 4s doesn't have SIM card?
I got my phone a few months ago in the US. I used it just fine, made calls, texts, took pictures, everything, never had a problem. I then went to England for 6 months. I only used it with Wi-Fi there. Now that I've come home, I decided to look into getting a newer phone. My phone has been working perfectly fine since I've been back. I was going to put it on eBay, but when I ejected the tray where the SIM should be, just checking things out, there wasn't one. That was the first time I'd ever looked in there. Why was I able to make calls and text and use internet, etc? Even now it still works fine. Do all iPhones come with a SIM card? Is this weird? What should I do? Wtf?
LMFAO n00bs… Gotta love n00bs…
ATT and Tmobile are GSM phones… The need a SIM card to regulate the tower frequency…
Sprint and Verizon are CDMA… There iphones are CDMA too, but are "Global Ready". CDMA technology doesn't use SIM cards… The tower frequency is regulated by the ESN HEX # in the phone itself… CDMA Global Ready phones have a SIM card slot caue 95% of Earth is GSM. Only 5% is CDMA (a dying technology btw) They have a sim slot so business customers and vacations can take the phone overseas, get a prepaid sim of that carrier overseas, and use the phone as nromal while overseas and not just use Wi-Fi all the freaking time, like you did… LMAO!
now, be smart and mindful… This DOES NOT mean a GSM Iphone will work on Sprint or Verizon… This DOES NOT mean a CDMA iphone will work on ATT or Tmobile… Again, GSM and CDMA Can't BE MIXED… There's no hack either… On GSM iphones, there's no CDMA radio in the phone… Ergo, not gonna work on CDMA likeSorint and Verizon… On CDMA iphones, Apple has locked out all USA based GSM carriers like ATT and Tmobile.ergo, not gonna work on USA based GSM carriers like att and Tmobile…
girl… You have a CDMA carrier… Get use to it

- Changing from normal sim card to iPhone 4 sim card? I'm an AT&T customer with a smart phone. I'm wanting to buy an iPhone 4 but I know they take smaller sim cards than normal phones. If I buy an iPhone from an individual, can I take it to AT&T and have them give me a smaller sim card & transfer my information? Would I have to pay extra for it? Is it even possible?
