Stolen CDMA (verizon) iPhone 4 Tracking?
I go to a pretty ghetto school so you hear all the time someone's beats by dre or iPhone were stolen and hardly ever does anyone get caught because thieves can take out the sim or just plain get away with it. My iPhone doesn't have a sim card slot but I read somewhere that even if they restore it my number still stays on it, but Its not showing up on find my iphone. What can thieves do to prevent me from tracking it other then turning it off, i mean the sim card is built right into it… Should I call verizon to have them track it or what
If you still have your phone, the best thing you can do is update it to IOS7. The updated software has a new feature that makes it so the thief will not be able to disable Find My iPhone.
Verizon will not be able to assist in tracking a phone.
- Will a Verizon 4g lte sim work in a cdma verizon iphone 4s? I want to buy a iphone 4s online and my carrier is Verizon. If I bought a cdma Verizon one, and put my 4g lte sim into it, will I have my number and all that stuff and will it work?

- Stolen iphone offline - tracking via icloud? Hi a colleagues iphone was stolen today and they've given me their icloud details to try help track their phone. Its offline so i'm assuming its been turned off. if i check the 'notify when found' button will the thief know i've done this? I don't want to give them any idea that someone is trying to track them otherwise that phone is never going to be turned on.i'm also not doing 'lost mode' for that same reason. also what is the play sound option?
