Switching from a iphone to a android phone in 2019, what are the issues?
You lose iMessaging and FaceTime which are totally free worldwide but you might never use them.
You also lose the seamless syncing between your Apple devices, but again that may not be of any importance if you only have an iPhone.
You also lose the seamless background device backups to iCloud, but that also might be unimportant if you only ever used the limited free iCloud backup and not the far better low-cost monthly paid for version.
You also lose the safety of the Apple Store, where all apps are vetted to ensure that they always play nicely together (with very few exceptions) and don't expose your devices to malware.
You lose Apple's support for their devices which is typically twice as long as the best Android competitors.
You gain access to smartphones with far more customisation options, and often more capable hardware.
You gain access to a much greater range of apps, but there are some risks with some of them.
Choose what suits YOU. No wrong choices here.
I have heard that Android is not as user friendly as an iPhone
I will not get an iPhone. They are over-priced. I have a Samsung and I like it, but it is getting old.
- Will the IPhone that's gonna be released in 2019 slow down after a few years like all the other Apple products? Ever since the news that Apple has purposefully made it so their devices slowly starts working worse as time goes by I haven't bought another Apple product but I really need a new phone, I wish I could buy another phone like Samsung but I have information on my current phone for school that can't be transferred. So I have been waiting for an Apple phone that won't slow down over time, so I don't have to constantly buy new phones and waste thousands.
- Will a iPhone 3GS or 4S still work with AT&T Prepaid in 2019? Just curious cause I'm planning on buying one for various reasons. Will a iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, or iPhone 4S work with ATT Prepaid in 2019? Any advice would be welcomed! Please no rude or unrelated answers!
- Switching Sim cards from Iphone 5 to Android phone? Probably a simple question, but I would like some input. I was wondering if I can take the Sim card from my iPhone 5 and use it on an Android or windows phone like the Galaxy 3 or Nokia Lumina? Is this possible and if it is how? Also I have Verizon and if I can switch to another device I will get a Verizon Phone. Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thank you. I was wondering if a sim adapter would work?
- Switching from Iphone to android or windows phone? So, I currently own an I-phone, but I'm thinking about switching to a Samsung galaxy s4 or a Nokia Lumia 928. However I have always had apple devices hence, I have bought a lot of music. My question is, is there any way to transfer the music you bought from an apple phone to a windows or android phone?
