Switching from Android to Iphone, should I get a 4s or a 5?

I'm planning on buying a new phone soon and I want to go from Android to Iphone. I've heard some people say that getting a 5 is rather pointless and that I may as well get a 4s since it's close enough and much cheaper, while on the other hand I've heard other people say that getting a 5 is well worth the extra money and the best way to go.

I'm honestly just looking for clear, objective opinions on which I should go for. Any valuable insight would be very greatly appreciated.

Oh, and please don't comment on how I should stick with android. I have nothing against Android phones, in fact mine has served me reasonably well, I'd just like to give Apple a try for a while because I never actually have.

DON't get the iphone 5 it sucks. The 4S is apples best phone. 2 of my cousins have each for at&t and they say thr iphone 5 is waste of money. Get the 4S!

Eh since the iphone 6 is coming out in the next couple months (no joke BTW) I think it would be best if you get the 4s since its cheaper and its the exact same experience of as if you had the 5 (minus the slightly bigger screen)… But in these days Apples been lagging allot since the release of the 5. Also take a look at the nokia 920 and the HTC 8X if you want a different experience (in my opinion 'Better' experience then what Android and Iphone's can offer)

DON't GET IPHONE at all they suck, i had a blackberry a few years back then i thought it was time for an upgrade so i got the iphone 4s and its the worst phone ever (i missed my blackberry thought it was so much better ) … I bought an android phone so much better, try Samsung Galaxy S3 or Droid DNA by far the DROID DNA is the best phone ever! Or maybe you can wait for the NEW Blackberry Balance 10

Best choice is a Iphone 4s. I have some friends with Iphone 5's, they're telling me that it's better then the 4s, but I rather have the 4s then the 5. ( Iphone 5 is a view seconds faster)

When the new iPhone is activated on their number, can we then switch phones so I would have the iPhone and my original number, and they have the Nexus? Does the iPhone to android factor affect this switch.
