Tesco sim doesn't work in unlocked iPhone 3GS?
I have just bought a second hand unlocked iPhone 3GS off of eBay. The phone works fine but when i put in my contract tesco sim, it doesn't work and just says no service. What can I do?

Did you get a text from them with your settings? The only other thing I can think of is that perhaps Tesco do not support this model of iphone, they sell the 4 and above and only today my husband bought an unlocked 4s and has his Tesco contract sim in it working fine.
Sometimes a network does not support the phone, you should call Tesco mobile tomorrow and ask them if they do support this model and if so they will help resolve the issue.

- Tesco broadband. Can I get a stronger Wi-Fi signal? I have Tesco unlimited broadband. It works fine but was wondering if anyone else has trouble with a weak signal when you are say 10-15 meters away through a couple of walls? My laptop picks up 2 out of 5 bars in signal but my iPhone 5 gets nothing at all. Could I upgrade my router? And if so, what would be a good one? Is there such a thing as a signal strength chart or anything like that? Just thought I'd ask.

- O2 Tesco UK: which carrier my iphone5 is exactly locked to? O2 UK or Tesco Mobile? I checked the IMEI of my iphone and found its network is O2 Tesco UK. I want to get my iphone unlatch but don't know which carrier my iphone is locked to. I sent an email to O2 for iphone unlatching request and they replied "I'm sorry, we have not been able to unlatch your iPhone at this time. The reason given is: The IMEI xxx has not been used on our network, so it will not be possible to unlatch it." What should I do?
- Not receiving any texts, on Tesco mobile? I'm not receiving any texts people are getting mine and i can call out and people can call me its just i'm getting no ones texts is anyone else having this problem, i'm on an iphone 5, is something up with tesco mobile at the moment?
