Texting with an iphone through Wi-Fi?
I have an iphone 4, but with no data or credit. I can text other iphones through the Wi-Fi with imessage, but now some won't send. Do they have to be on Wi-Fi to receive the text? Or if they're on 3G will i still be able to text through Wi-Fi?
They will receive it whether they are on Wi-Fi or on a Wireless Data Network.

If you're sending through Wi-Fi, they should be able to get it through the internet no matter how their phones are connected.

- No reception in apartment, iphone app for making calls and texting through wi-fi? I've got an iphone 5 with t-mobile, the apartment i live in gives me literally no reception at all. But as soon as i step out of it, i get an immidiate 3-4 bars, so I figured it's just my apartment. Does anyone know of any iphone apps that can use my phone number to make calls and text through wi-fi while still allowing me to keep my t- mobile service? So that i can still get calls and texts while in my apartment?
