Music on my iPhone is not showing up in my iTunes?

I have a playlist on my iPhone that contains songs that I have bought from iTunes and songs I have from elsewhere, and neither the playlist nor the songs that I have that are not purchased from iTunes appear in my library. The simplest thing I can think of is copying the playlist and pasting it into my library, but this does not work.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

This is a software i use to transfer music from my iphone to itunes. Songs that are from elsewhere will only be transferred through a third party software like the link below.

Hi there can anyone help me, I want to put all my music albums songs into my iTunes aswell so I have them in both places mobile & iTunes

  • Why is my music not showing up in the artist section of my iPhone? I just started adding music to my Iphone 5 and quite a bit of the music will not show up in the Artist section. After searching for it I can usually find what I was looking for in either the Album or Song section, but I find it kind of annoying to have to search so hard just for music. I have a Windows 10 desktop computer and my iPhone 6 charges when it is plugged into my computer, but my iPhone 6 is not showing up in "This PC" or in iTunes. Also the iCloud will not install on this computer either. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall iTunes with no success.
  • Trying to convert itunes song to ringtone, file name not showing up with.m4a? I've found several step by step instructions on how to turn an itunes song into a ringtone for my iphone. I make the song 30 seconds, create an aac version, hit show in windows explorer, but then the next step says change the ".m4a" in the song title file name to ".m4r". The only problem is the file name just shows up with the normal song title, no ".m4a". Any idea what i'm doing wrong?
  • Songs showing up on iTunes but not iPhone 5? I went to listen to a specific album on my iPhone 5 and noticed I only have 3 songs from it. So I went into iTunes and put the album back on to the phone. When I look at the phone through iTunes the album shows up with all the songs. However, when I look on my phone I still only have the 3 songs. They work if I create AAC versions but I don't want to do that and take up the extra space. How can I fix this?
