Tips on buying an iphone 5 in person?

Hi there so tomorrow I'm meeting a person to buy an iphone 5. I have met up with him in front of a apple shop. We have agreed on a price and once he arrives I can check if it is in excellent condition. What should I check for? Should I create some kind of contract? Any help is appreciated.

Also, Go To Settings>iCloud And Ensure There's No Apple ID Logged Into The Phone, If There's - It May Be An Honest Mistake Of The Seller Forgetting To Sign Out - Or The Phone May Be Stolen. Do Not Take The Phone Until On The iCloud Panel - Find My iPhone Has Been Switched Off, And The Account Has Been Deleted.

If The iCloud Profile Is Not Deleted, And Find My iPhone Is Still Active, The Seller / Or Owner (If It Was Stolen) Can Disable The iPhone At Any Time Or Track It. In Which Case, Having A Stolen Phone That You Paid For Would Absolutely Suck For You, And Everyone Involved.
