Transferring Contacts from one iphone to another iphone?
So I still have the 3GS. I know!
Well it recently stopped working, but I just placed my sim card in my mom's old iPhone 3GS.
I want to know how to move all my contacts, apps, and pics from my old iPhone to my current one (my moms) Although I want to try and not delete any of my moms stuff on here either. I have tried EVERYTHING icloud, itunes and nothing is working.
I don't know if its because when it shows up on the computer its under my moms name or what?
Update to the latest version of iOS. It should be 6.1. Goto Settings>iCloud>Enter your account. Then turn Contacts to ON. To get your apps goto App Store>Updates>Purchased>Not on This iPhone
You can easily sync them with home sharing
- Transferring iPhone contacts from phone to sim card? I'm selling my iPhone 4S and buying a Galaxy S3. If I go to an AT&T store can they transfer the contacts from my phone to my sim card? Syncing the contacts to my computer then manually putting them in the S3 does not sound to appealing.
- Transferring Iphone contacts between different IOS? Alright, so I backed up my phone on IOS6 and upgraded to IOS7. When I plugged in my phone with IOS7 it deleted my ios 6 back up. Now I want to go back and it says that my backup is only compatible for IOS7. I never made an Icloud backup either… I have everything I want when I bump back up to ios7 but how am I able to go back to 6 and somehow transfer my contacts?! I have a Mac btw
- Transferring from one iPhone to another? So here is what's up. My iPhone 4s took a dive into my water filled sink two nights ago. I just bought a new iPhone from a friend today but I haven't transferred over to it yet. Will I get the texts people have tried sending me while my phone has been off onto my new iPhone when I activate it? It has been shut off since it was ruined but I didn't know if that would make a difference or not.

I know music and apps are easy to put back on but there are notes, game data and contacts. I also have my stuff backed up onto iCloud, how would I put stuff from this phone onto my new one?
