Transferring data (& iTunes, iPhoto etc.) from old spoilt mac to new?
Hi, I got a new MacBook recently but all my data and my iTunes & iPhoto library are in my old one, which I can't even start up - it's completely unresponsive when I try to turn it on. And unfortunately I didn't back it up while was still working, even though it was clearly steadily deteriorating even after I got it repaired once… Do I have to get it repaired again in order to retrieve all my data? Apart from the data, is there a way to start up my iTunes library exactly the way it was before (I had 600 songs but the files are all in my old computer…) so I can regularly sync it with my iPhone again? If I'm not wrong, iTunes only syncs in one direction, so do I have to wait until I can use my old computer (and how do I do so then?) Any related tips are greatly appreciated!

- Transferring number from old sim card to new? Okay, say if you get a new phone (iPhone to iPhone 4) you take it to the store and get them to change your number from your old simcard to the new one that fits the new iPhone 4. Does the old phone not work anymore? And does all your contacts, photos etc stay on the old phone or go to the new phone with the new sim card?
- Transferring everything from old to new iphone? My iphone 4 was stolen, but i still have an old iphone 3.normally when you buy a brand new iphone, i know that when you connect it to your computer it automatically puts everything from your old iphone on your new one (contacts, pictures etc.) But the one i want to use now has a lot of old stuff on it, its basically not "empty". When i plug it into the computer i don't see the option to put everything from my old phone on the new one. How can i do this?
- Transferring contacts, photos etc from iPhone 4 to 6? Will the contacts, photos, history be removed from the iPhone 4 when transfered to the iPhone 6 via itunes?
- I'm looking for a good photo editing application for my mac computer besides iPhoto? I want it to be free to download and i like hipster effects or designs such as rhonna designs app that is on my iPhone.
