Transferring music from old iPhone to new iPhone?
I just purchased the iPhone 5, upgrading from my iPhone 4. However, I restored my new iPhone using the "Restore from backup" method. I backed up my iPhone 4 on my computer, but I have never synced my iPhone 4 and my computer. I thought that once restoring my my new iPhone from this backup that the songs would transfer over, but they did not. Everything else came through wonderfully. So my question is how to I transfer all of the music from my old iPhone to my new iPhone? I have all the songs on my old iPhone also in iTunes, but I want to keep my playlists, and I don't want to have to manually select all of the songs I want to transfer to my new iPhone. All I want is for the music on my new iPhone to look exactly like the music on my old iPhone.
Go into your carrier and they can help you transfer everything.
Make a backup for your old iPhone and restore from the backup with your new iPhone.
- Transferring old iPhone pics into new iPhone? I bought an iPhone 5s yesterday. My old phone was a 4s. I had a lot of important pictures on it. How can I put them all in my new phone's camera roll? I really don't want to download them from iTunes because that will put them in a folder that can only be manipulated from my laptop. I want them in my regular camera roll. Can I use photo stream to send them to my new phone and save them from there? Is there any way I can use iCloud to transfer them?

Okay, say if you get a new phone (iPhone to iPhone 4) you take it to the store and get them to change your number from your old simcard to the new one that fits the new iPhone 4. Does the old phone not work anymore? And does all your contacts, photos etc stay on the old phone or go to the new phone with the new sim card?

My iphone 4 was stolen, but i still have an old iphone 3.normally when you buy a brand new iphone, i know that when you connect it to your computer it automatically puts everything from your old iphone on your new one (contacts, pictures etc.) But the one i want to use now has a lot of old stuff on it, its basically not "empty". When i plug it into the computer i don't see the option to put everything from my old phone on the new one. How can i do this?
