Upgrading to the full iOS 7?
When the full version of iOS 7 comes out should i upgrade my iPhone 4 to it?
I love the new design but many people are saying that iOS 7 is really laggy on iPhone 4/4S. Or is it just the BETA version thats laggy?
It will be laggy, even with several signature features disabled, like animated wallpaper. This is just like 3GS with iOS 6.
Running beta on my ipad 2 right now is not laggy at all but is unstable.
Not sure what people are talking about. I've been running it on my iPhone 4 without any problems, hardly any lag. You can install the beta if you register your device's UDID with a developer account through a site like http://www.udid.in/.It's $5, and then you can try out the new OS before everyone else.
- Will upgrading iPhone 4 to iOS 6 completely delete jailbreak? I know it will get rid of jailbreak, which I don't mind at all. However, I have read through different forums that sometimes the jailbreak is never completely deleted because some files still remain in phone. I would not want that to be the case (I might as well not upgrade, I don't want those files possibly causing any performance problems). So, what say you? I want to try iOS 6 on my iPhone 4.
- Will upgrading from iOS 5 to iOS 6 delete ANY data? I want to upgrade my iPhone 4 from iOS 5 to iOS 6 DIRECTLY FROM THE iPHONE using the software update option in Settings >> General. Will doing this delete ANY contacts, emails, apps, notes and calendar reminders? I'm MOST concerned about CONTACTS. I have more than 1000 of Contacts.
- Will iOS 7 Beta upgrade to full ios 7 when it's released? I wanna upgrade to ios 7 beta, but when ios 7 is released in the fall, will the beta upgrade straight to the full ios 7, or will I have to restore my phone back to ios 6.1.3 (or 6.1.4 for iphone 5) to upgrade to the full ios 7?
- Upgrading to ios 6.will i lose text message history? This is my first time with an iphone and my first os upgrade. I back my iphone up through itunes but will i lose my text message history or is it backed up as well? I did a back up 15 minutes ago. I guess, here goes nothing!
