Using another iPhone's SIM card to unlock iphone?
This boy asked me to use my SIM card for like 5 seconds because he needed to unlock his friends iphone (he said his friend told him to sell it & he doesn't know the passcode). He kept insisting that it was only 5 seconds, so I just let him use it (he asked if I had AT&T first for my iphone-yes I do). Was he telling the truth? Was the only thing he did was unlock the iphone? Or did he use it for something else? It did take 5 seconds, but I just need to know if that's the only thing you can do with a sim are instead of hacking or something?
Should be fine, he probably just needed it to activate the phone, the newer ios versions need a sim card or Wi-Fi to activate the iphone to make it usable.

- Using a SIM card from another phone to an iPhone 4s? So my aunt recently just got the 5s, she's giving me her old 4s. I was wondering if I could take the sim card from my current phone (Some old Samsung phone) and put it into the 4s. Because the iPhone needs an data plan but I don't want to pay for that.
