Using my iPhone as just an music device and not a phone?
I don't use my iPhone 4s as a cell phone anymore, what is the best way for me to clear everything except the software needed for music?
You can't. The phone function is there no matter what.
You can't do it the iphone will just stay an iphone unless you bring it to apple samsung etc so you can get phone off and just use the music thing
Pull your sim card and it's no longer a phone. The basic apps will stay though.
Why?
- With a moble hotspot, does the connected device work better if the phone isn't using service? I'm trying to watch Netflix on my computer with my iPhone's hotspot but it keeps stopping to load. Is this because I'm also on my phone?
- What cell phone, and company, is the best for someone who just listens to music, streams shows/videos, and texts? Cheapest plans/phones? I occasionally talk on my phone, and/or take photos. Also, can I still get the food/ride share apps if I don't have an IPhone? I live in a mid-sized city in the mid-west. (over 100,000 pop. And over 70 square miles)
- How do you stop calls coming from one device coming to your device from iCloud (apple iPhone)? I'm 13 and i don't have a credit card so i use my mums account and since my phone and her phone has the same icloud, her calls come into MY phone and i've tried making a new apple id but it won't work so how can i stop it (i've already logged out on my phone) so how can i stop it?
- Is there such thing as an iPhone data cable that JUST connects the device and does not charge it? I have an iPhone 5 and the best way to connect it to my car stereo is USB in. The USB gives the best sound but I don't want to ruin my battery by charging and unplugging all the time. So basically IIm looking for a data cable the transfers data, but will NOT change my phone.
