Verizon ShareEverything Plan
On apple.com I was looking at the rates and for verizon wireless there's one Share Everything plan, which the cheapest is $80 for unlimted talk and text and 300mb of data.
On the share everything plan it says you can have up to 10 lines.
So does this mean if you get 4 iphone 5's it comes to $80/mo?
is there extra charges for more than one line?
What is the cheapest verizon monthly charge for 4 iphone 5's?
It's $80 for the first line and $40 for each additional line… So $200 for 4 lines with smartphones, plus probably about 15% in taxes and fees.
300mb Data can only be on one iPhone 5! Anything above that can be on 10 or below. Otherwise, say, a 6gb a month plan with unlimited talk/text can be split up amongst 10 iphones or below, so 1 phone will have the same plan total as 10 phones BUT every phone has a $40 line access fee, so for every phone add that to your monthly payment!
The Apple website has the wrong information. Verizon will not allow any smart phone to be activated with the 300MB of data plan. The cheapest data plan for a smart phone with Verizon is $50 for 1GB of data. You have to pay $40 to activate a smartphone with Verizon. So the cheapest Verizon plan for the Iphone is around $112 per month.
- Will the sprint iPhone Forever plan or a similar plan be available later this year? I don't have enough money right now and it expires soon, but I'm asking because it's a great deal and I don't want to miss out on it. Obviously you can't know for sure, but has anyone paid attention to previous years, and/or can you make an educated guess?
- Will I be able to unlock my iPhone with a home phone plan instead of a wireless plan? I don't have a wireless plan with AT&T but I have a home phone plan does that count towards unlocking requirements? And also can I use a mildly cracked screen as a replacement screen on my iPhone?
- Is the Verizon edge plan a good plan for me? I have the iPhone 4 and really want to upgrade to the 5c or 5s --not sure yet. Anyway, I also would want to upgrade to the 6 when it comes out. Should I get the edge plan so I'll be able to upgrade it or should I wait all the way until the 6 comes out?
- Is it cheaper to get a new iPhone on a plan or buy it unlocked and add a cheap plan? I can either buy the phone for $250 and pay a monthly $80 plan with data for 2 years or purchase the unlocked phone $800 and pay $30 - $50 a month - I might not get data but it wouldn't be a big deal to me, I'm just trying to find a deal thats not ridiculously expensive cause I can't really afford too too much right now. Which would be better?
