What is a VPN number on an iPhone?
I'm selling my old iphone to my coworker but she told me to provide her with the old iphone's VPN number before i erase everything. Does this sound plausible? And what would she need the VPN number for?
VPN is an add-on option, not everyone uses that.
Just tell the buyer that you never used VPN at all, there's no "number"
If she wants the IMEI number, that is valid. With that she can validate with a provider that the phone will work on their service. Also, it can be checked to make sure the phone was not reported as stolen.
Nope. No such thing. She means MEID or IMEI number, to confirm it's transferable to a new account.

- Why is my iPhone number being displayed wrongly on my number? My number is X, but on "my number" settings, it's being displayed number Y. Why is that?
