Wet IPhone works except for mic & back camara?

I dropped my iphone in water. I set it in rice for four days.

I refuse to pay around $300 bucks for a new replacement seeing at the phone works. I can send & reply texts, watch videos, listen to music & check all apps except for the back camera & microphone.

Can i get Best Buy to fix it? I can't see why Apple can't fix iphones. I suppose thats how they make more money.

What should i do?

You can literally pay just 50$ at the Apple Store to get the iphone replaced, hope this helps!

Of course Apple can fix phones. If you had sprung for the Apple Care Warranty they would have replaced it for $79 or less because Apple Care covers 2 accidentals, including water damage.

  • Need an advice! My iphone got wet but still works fine? I spilled my water bottle on my backpack about 2 hours. I just noticed it when I opened my backpack and I saw my iphone 4s got wet, it wasn't submerged it's just wet. It still works fine, quickly I turned it off and haven't yet checked anything because I was shocked. Now that I got home I put it on a bag of rice. What to do after this? How long should I put this? I'm afraid if I turn it on before the phone completely dries it will get a problem.
  • My iphone 3 got a little wet but works? My iphone 3 got a little wet (a few small drops of water) and my screen looks normal with no damage. Should I be worried?
  • IPhone mic works on calls but not facetime? When I try to FaceTime someone, I can hear them but they can't hear me but if I call them normally we can hear each other? Tried some other voice recognition apps and they can pick up my voice too it's only FaceTime, and I didn't accidentally mute myself either!
  • IPhone got wet but it still works. Repair it though? So today at lunch my coke fell over my iPhone, I quickly picked it up and dry it like any other person would. To my surprise everything work perfectly, well except the speakers, at the beginning it was hearing low with the volume all up, but after some minutes it started to hear normal. Should I send my iPhone to "repair" even though it is still working fine? My iPhone is still under warranty and it haves insurance.
