What are the best types of smart phones that are not IPhones?

I'm looking to buy a smart phone but I don't want an iPhone because my sister has one and might think my one is hers.

Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X+, Droid Razr

Galaxy s III

Samsung galaxy's and sony xperia are very good

Samsung Galaxy 3S, Droid Razr and/or DNA, and maybe an assortment of windows phone. That should differentiate enough from an iphone. The only issue is that you'll need to get a separate plan for any other smart phone. You could always get an iphone and get a unique case for it.

Motorola Atrix HD. - exactly same specs as the Samsung Galaxy S3 but 1/10th of the cost.

The Pantech Burst. I have one, and its the best phone i ever had. It does everything an iphone can do, and way cheaper. I really love it, and when people ask me what kind of phone they should get, i tell them to get the Pantech Burst, and after they buy it, they always love it.

Samsung Galaxy S3 - there are so many cool features such as 4G LTE, S voice, Android, up to 32 fixed internal storage, S Beam, Tilt to zoom and many more. There's also the Blackberry Bold 9900 including things such as BBM, good camera and many more. HTC phones are apparently amazing too.

Galaxy S3 and Note 2 (very big)

This is my personal list:

1. Samsung Galaxy S3
2. HTC One X+
3. Google Nexus 4
4. Nokia Lumia 920
5. HTC Windows Phone 8X
6. Sony Xperia T

But then on the other hand, why would your sister think your phone is hers? You can buy a different pouch from hers where you can keep your phone. Or you could buy a different colour iPhone. See, simples.

Well there plenty of good smartphones besides the Iphone 5.

1. Nokia Lumia 920(Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait with 1GB ram and 32GB onboard memory, it uses windows mobile 8 OS )
2. Samsung Note II(Note 2 has a 1.6GHz quad-core
processor and comes with 2GB of RAM and has a built in memory of 16/32/64GB, its an Android ).

I would say buy the Samsung Galaxy Note II, it has the biggest screen. It also has the longest battery life. The Galaxy note II is the only phone that has a memory card slot between this three phones. Galaxy note II has the biggest Ram and processor.

You can get a different case than your sister's or maybe get a different generation (like the 4 or 4s if she's got the 5).It really depends on what you want out of a smartphone and are willing to spend. Are you Verizon? Check their website and see what they've got and what the user reviews say.

  • Why is the iphone so much better than other smart phones? I'm not trying to start a fight here. It just seems like Apple has access to alien technology or something. I've been trying to help my dad with his Samsung stratosphere and the difference is staggering. Another thing worth noting is that any of my friends who have non iphone smart phones also carry their ipod touches around with them. That says something.
  • Why do so many kids have iphones, blackberrys, and smart phones? I mean little kids as young as 5 years old. It really does annoy me because they are little and don't need a really expensive phone just for emergencies. I always see them on the phones and ipods. My brother is almost in middle school and has the cheapest phone. And i'm in highschool and my phone is nowhere near the expesive phones the elementary kids have infact my phone is used so i got for free.
  • Why are iPhones so different than smart phones? My gramma just got an iPhone and has no idea how to use it and I have to teach her how but I have a smart phone and I kept on looking for buttons that aren't there and on smartphones it is simple to set your ringtone but I have no idea how to on an iPhone my gramma wants Eric church for her ringtone and I have no idea how to do that and she wants a new message tone too! Someone please help me
  • What types of iPhones work with Straight Talk? I wanted to know if an unlocked iPhone in general can be crossed over into Straight Talk. The iPhone 4 and also the iPhone 5 are buy-able through Straight Talk (Wal-Mart) but would an iPhone 3G work as well? Anything helps.
