What can I do on iPhone 4s that I can't do on 3gs?

I have the 4s right now, but my toddler has ruined it… Shattered the screen and both camera's. I don't have insurance so i replaced the parts myself for cheaper.well, now my screen is fine but my cameras don't work.i'm an instagram addict so thats an issue lol. I don't use Siri much so thats no problem to loose. My mom has a 3gs that i can have… Will i loose any other functions switching from 4s to 3gs other than siri, storage space & a front camera? I NEED A WORKING CAMERA! But i also love apps such as instagram, path, vox, and many others… Will all of the apps work on the older model phone?

The basic apps will work but will be a bit slow, the 3GS does have a terrible camera, 3.2 megapixel and no flash so… If you are and bad budget then use it for the time being otherwise get yourself a new phone.

  • What can the iphone 5 or 4s do that the iphone 3gs can't? I mean like distinct features. And are there some apps or stuff like especially for the 4s or 5? Cause I'm thinking about getting an iphone and well they all look the same to me.except of course no front camera on the 3gs but I can live with that. So what should I get?
  • Does Iphone-5 earphones can able to use for Iphone 3GS? Guys I've iPhone 3GS. As i'm thinking to purchase earphones(only) of iPhone-5, does it has same connectivity concept(3.5mm jack, Pin hole etc) of iPhone 3GS? Can i use iPhone-5 earphones on ma iPhone-3GS?
  • Can't restore My iPhone 4 from iPhone 3GS backup? Today my girlfriend got an iPhone 4 after her 3GS broke. She brought it home and went to register/set it up. We go to do the restore from back up and nothing happens. We wait for 15+ minutes for it to happen and all it does is make us do it all over again. What is going on and why isn't it working?
  • Can you switch SIM cards between iPhone 3GS and another iPhone 3GS? Me and my boyfriend are switching iPhones because mines cracked and he said hell use it till I get a new screen. We have the same kind of iPhone, both 3GS. I was wondering, if we could just simply switch SIM cards. Like me move mine to his phone, and him move his to my phone. And the phones actually work. If we do so, will our numbers automatically switch over? And what about contacts and what not. I'm mainly worried about our numbers.
