What can I use to remotely watch a webcam?
I have two bunnies at home and I would like to set up a webcam to see what they're doing when I'm not home. Is there anything free that I can do this on an iPhone or computer?
I have a computer with webcam to set up near them.
Here are 2 ways:
-Use any webcam software (like the one that came with your webcam) and let it run on the computer, full-screen if possible. Then install a remote-admin software (like http://www.teamviewer.com/...viewer.com ), and install the app for this remote-admin software on your iPhone or remote PC. When you remotely log in your computer, you'll see the webcam. The video framerate may not be very good, but you'll see the image. And it's free.
-Install a webcam software that has a feature to share the webcam online using HTTP, (like http://www.spycamlizard.com ), this can make you PC a web server. Activate the HTTP feature in the software, then use any web browser on a computer or mobile device to connect to your PC and see the live video.
