Stolen/ lost iPhone, can I add a tracker app remotely to my phone from my computer?
How would I ad the app ''lookout'' to track my phone without having the phone here? There's a guy on YouTube that said he can do that but i don't know how to remotely ad an app without the phone being here
Well, you can download the app from the app store on iTunes from your computer. I just downloaded an app from my computer to my iPad & my iPad is all the way an hour away. You just have to make sure they don't see it and uninstall it from your phone. I don't know what you do for that because I have an Android and they have specific apps for if you lose your phone without having something already installed in it. & I went to the computer online play store & downloaded it to my phone when mine got stolen. I got it back a few days.
Is that app specifically for that? If so, just download it from iTunes on your computer and it will automatically go to your phone where you can do whatever you need to do for it to track it down. I wish you luck and hope you get it back! Have a good night.
- My iphone was just stolen, is there a way to remotely get my photos backed up on icloud? My icloud was full so my photos were not backing up. Now my phone is gone and stolen. I was wondering if I clear out my icloud would there be a way to get it to update my photos from my phone so I will still be able to have them? - If I report a phone as lost/stolen AFTER the thief gets a chance to put a sim card in, would it lock the phone just like that? Got my iPhone SE stolen a few days ago, and Koodo is supposedly calling me tomorrow to ask if I want to report it as stolen. Is it possible that the thief is able get away with this? Also if they manage to unlock the carrier somehow?
