What counts as data on Verizon's data plans with the iphone? Read more please?

So i got an iphone for xmas and i have a 2gig plan, so what counts as data on the phone? Like playing games, emails, tweets, ect?

Also when the bill comes in will it show, say i downloaded the twitter app, will it show that i spend time on it? (my dad doesn't know i have one so trying to make sure he doesn't find out.)

--- about 80% of all apps on androids and iphones use data. Email, social networking weather, radio/video/movie online streaming, online gaming, and any app that requires your website account info or sign in or register (how else will the app know who you are and allow you to inteact with others)… Usage pattern diferent from app to app and based All on your own usage. So don't blame the phone or the wireless carrier, only blame yourself if you go over 2GB… So be smart and keep track of your data usage. All carriers have free data trackers to make sure their customers don't go over their data allowance.

--- yes and no… If you download a free app, No it won't show up on the bill. If you download a paid app and pay for it with a credit or debit card on the spot, then NO it doesn't show up on the bill… BUT---if you download a paid app, and choose the option "Bill to Mobile", then it WILL show up on the bill cause you just told Google Playstore and Apple Appstore that you have no credit or debit card and you want to be billed later on your phone bill…
