What do I do if my iPhone 5c says searching?
I recently bought an iPhone 5c AT&T from a friend and I haven't even had if for over a month. We had to replace the SIM card because hers wasn't working. After we replaced it the phone had been working perfect with cellular data. But a couple days ago I noticed that it said "searching" on the top left of my screen and won't work without Wi-Fi. I can't send texts and I can't call. I also tried to take the SIM card out to see if it would say "no SIM card" but it doesn't even say that. It also says my phone # is unknown. I need help?!
It sounds like now you know why your friend sold you it, he might have damaged it.
Take it to the shop. The iPhone might be broken, not the SIM card.
- Sprint Iphone 4 goes from 5 bars to No service and Searching? I called sprint and they tried everything on their end and told me to reset the network settings, even resetting the entire phone, and nothing helped. I read somewhere that the antenna is touchy on these phones and wearing a case may help? I would like to hear any fixes and if anyone else has had these issues. It worked completely fine the first day I had it and then it just started losing service for no reason.

- Searching.after IOS 6 iPhone Update - Lost Signal completely? Have just updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 6, and now have lost my network completely. Instead of Orange i now have "Searching… ". I have gone to settings > general > reset > reset network settings and also "reset all settings", still nothing… Anyone else experienced this?
- No sim? Says searching? What do I do? Everytime when I turn on my iPhone, it'll say either "searching…" or "no sim" at the top. I've tried resrting my phone, taking out the sim card and puting it back in, turning on made and turning it off. Help me please?! I don't know what to do, and I need to be able to get in touch with people.
