What electronic should I bring with me to study abroad in South korea?
I'm more concerned about if I will be able to use skype or google voice for my family and friends.
My professors recommended for us not to bring our laptops because we will be traveling down and up the hills and mostly by foot.
They suggested in bringing an Ipad. But Ipads are too expensive for me:[
What other electronics are there I can bring with me which isn't expensive and is like the Ipad?
I want to be able to use the internet and take pictures as well with the electronic.
I have an Iphone 4s and Sprint's service is horrible. I know it costs alot more money to get service outside of the country so I won't choose that option:[
Is there a way I can use a phone to call back home?
Please let me know, thank you!
What about not calling? Just texting and sending some pics?
Free Wi-Fi zones are everywhere in Korea which is so good. So you can send messages (like tweets and facebook) and pictures to your family and friends for free bia your Iphone 4s.
- Which electronic device should i get? I want to get new gadgets but there are just to many to pick. Should i get an iphone, samsung galaxy note, or an ipad? Ps i have an android smartphone and an ipod touch 4th gen
- Which camera should I bring? Studying abroad in London/Travelling Europe? I have these options: a DSLR Nikon camera, a Sony videocamera (small), or should I buy a digital camera? In addition, i'm bringing my iPhone 5s, which has pretty good quality as well. I'm just afraid I'll lose my DSLR, should I buy a digital camera or take the small videocamera? Suggestions? I will be studying for a semester in London and traveling to a few countries in Europe as well.
- When dealing with small electronic components, should I wear gloves? I'm going to replace my iPhone 4S Screen. Which requires me to gut the whole phone in order to get to the screen. I'm pretty confident that it will be successful. But I'm aware that my oils or static can destroy (i don't know) the components. Would it be a good idea to wear latex gloves or something?
- What electronic should I get? I really like the Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch, iPhone 4, or iPod Touch 4 Generation. How do I decide? The iPhone would be expensive, with the calling fees. THe Nexus's lack of rear camera and expandable storage is bad? And Samsung Galaxy is the best, for now. WHat should I get? I plan to be reading mostly, with an occasional web search or app. I have a Kindle TOuch, so E-Readers are out.
