What format do you use for your iPhone music? MP3 320kbps or AAC 296kbps?
I was wondering if anyone of you guys knew which is better quality? Is the 320kbps MP3 format better than the AAC 256kbps? The AAC takes less space but will i know the difference?
I do 256 mp3 (or 192) … Good trade off with sound vs size.
Technically speaking, a 256kbps AAC audio file is just about as good as a 320kbps MP3 encoding. (So long as the AAC file was created from a lossless source like a CD.) However, under scientific listening tests, people are unable to hear any difference between the two formats at bit rates of 192kbps and above. So even if you created a 320kbps AAC audio file and compared it to a 320kbps MP3, you would hear no audible difference. AAC does not really show any type of audible improvement over MP3 until you start encoding below 128kbps. Going into the lower bitrates, AAC will then show it's audible superiority, since MP3's tend to lose their audio fidelity going below 128kbps.
But otherwise there really is no quality difference between the two formats so long as you encode at 128kbps and above. 192kbps ~ 320kbps is considered near CD quality for both formats.
- Which converter you use for converting videos to iPhone format? I have been trying to convert videos to iPhone 4s (ios 8.1) format with several videos converters, but nothing helps. After converting, videos not shows up in iTunes "by dragging or by adding file option". Any solution would be helpful. I'm on Windows 7.
- What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
- Transferring MP3 to iTunes, MP3 not working? I downloaded 40 MP3s in my computer and as usual, I drag them to iTunes so I can connect it to my iPhone. But only 4 were able to transfer. I tried playing the MP3s that didn't work in windows media player but they did not play. They are all MP3 files (the ones that worked and didn't work) how can I make the files play and transfer them to iTunes?
