What happens if FedEx comes, and I'm not home?
My mother ordered me a Verizon Wireless iPhone 5 on Friday, and tomorrow is going to be Wendsday.
I have school tomorrow, and I'm usually back home by 3:30PM. I'm scared that when I'm not home, I'm not able to receive my new phone. Also, Verizon Wireless emailed me today at noon giving me the tracking number, etc. From FedEx and it says it's "not found" on the FedEx website. I'm so excited to get my new phone, so I hoping it would ship safely to my house.
Verizon requires an adult signature when packages are delivered. If no one is home FedEx will leave a slip on the door about how to contact them for redelivery or how to arrange to pickup the package at a FedEx store.
- What happens if you buy a iPhone of eBay and it happens to be stolen? I typed in a serial number of an iPhone into apple checker and it said the phone has not been activated? The phone is still sealed in its box is the phone ok to buy?
- What happens if a package is delivered and no one is home? I ordered an iPhone and verizon is shipping it to me. Both my parents work and no one will be at my house to sign for the package. If I leave a note on my door saying it's ok to leave the package on the porch will the delivery service leave it?
- Order tracking says ETA is 8 PM, does Fedex deliver that late? I ordered an iPhone, it says the ETA is 8 PM Monday, is that legitimate though? I'm thinking it's just a bug with the system they have yet to work out and it's likely going to arrive the next morning.
- Is the FedEx Estimated Delivery accurate? I ordered an iPhone 4 yesterday and the shipping is supposed to be 24 hours, however the estimated delivery says it won't arrive until tomorrow. Is the estimated delivery accurate?
