What happens if I delete my iCloud backup?
I need to replace my iPad because the screen is cracked, but I don't want to loose the data on some of my games. So to make room on iCloud for my games I'm considering deleting the back up for my iPad and my old iPhone and then only backing up the stuff from my iPad I want to keep.
What all will this do the data on my iPad, like specifically my camera roll and photostream?
Back up to a computer, then you don't have to delete anything from your iCloud and its easier that way. Btw, if only your screen is broken, then you can just replace that instead of the whole iPad.
Don't over-complicate the situation. Just have the screen replaced.
- Will updating to iOS 7 delete everything if I don't backup my storage to iCloud? I have about 4.8GB left of storage in my iPhone 5 left but iCloud is acting up and it's saying there's no space to back everything up. What should I do? Should I still update to iOS7? It's stressing me out and I don't wanna risk anything being deleted.
- What happens when you delete iCloud? I don't use iCloud, and nothing is backed up on so it is essentially a blank account. So I was wondering what would happen if I delete the account on my iPhone through settings, will I gain more storage and will the "other" usage me minimized?
- What happens when I delete an iCloud account from my iPhone? Recently, I just found out that my dad and I shared the same iCloud account on my phone and I really want to have my own privacy so if I delete my iCloud account, would that also delete the photos, apps, etc that was already stored on iCloud from my phone?
- What happens to the data in my app when I delete it from iCloud? I have an app on my iphone 5 that I want to keep on my device and still play but it saves to iCloud. I know how to delete it from iCloud but will the app data just start saving on my device NOT iCloud? Will I still have All my data on my game?
