What happens If I jailbreak and iphone3GS to straight talk network?

Will I be able to use the iPhone apps? Or how does it work? Because if I can use the apps I will most definitely get this done because straight talk is a billion times cheaper.

Most apps should still work fine, so much as they do not consume too much data. Despite advertising "unlimited data", Straight Talk does have an unwritten cap on data usage, and is thought to be between 1.5 GB and 3.5GB per month.
