What happens to your phone service when you restore an iPhone without the back up data?
Just wondering. Because it's one of the only ways I can clear the 'Other' data from my 8GB iPhone. Anyone know what that is anyway?
You literally will have a brand new iPhone. My question to you is… Why even get an iPhone with only 8GB?
All files and folder will be lost
Nothing. Using a backup or not has no effect on this. In fact, other than removing the SIM nothing has an effect on it.
Oh & setting it up as a new phone doesn't completely clear out the Other section. Nothing will do that.
- Will taking your battery out you iPhone then putting the same one back in mess up you phone? My iPhone 5c was water damaged and I looked at things on YouTube how to fix it and one was to open up your iPhone and vacuum out your phone but I took out my battery and vacuumed it then put it back in.
- What happens when you restore your IPhone or IPod? I want to take off my jailbreak on my iPod touch and someone told me to restore my ipod with iTunes. I backed up my ipod touch with Icloud to get my things back. After I restore what do I have to do to get my music, settings, and pictures back.
- What happens when you go over your data plan? I'm with telus and have an iphone 4s. I have a certain amout of gigabites of 3G and i know i went over. I went to my grandparents and they don't have internet so i used 3G for everything, does telus charge you for going over your limit?
- What happens when you back up your iPhone to a macbook? I have an iphone5 but I'll be disowning it soon, its a long story.anyways, i of course want to save everything on the iPhone… Pictures, most importantly. So if i back up my iPhone on iTunes (with the computer, not iCloud) will it save everything including all the pictures? I'll be getting the iphone5s when it comes out and was also wondering if i restore the iPhone… Will all my pictures go to that new phone? Because thats what I'm hoping for…
